Joe Crow the gloove puppet came to the Common Impact Church in Dagenham for the Easter Hunt. He wanted us to share a story of the Good Shepherd with the children and parents.

We read Psalm 23 to the children “The Lord is my shepherd “ asking them who do they thought the Good Shepherd was? They began to reply Jesus, Jesus. It was opportunity to share how much Jesus loved little children like them and wanted to take of each one of them and their families.

We shared the parable of the lost sheep with Zach reading the scriptures. As Peter Ruck told the children that we had lost a sheep and that there was a lost sheep it the building that it needed to be found just like they were hunting for Easter eggs. The children called out little sheep were are you?

It is about a shepherd who leaves his flock of ninety-nine sheep in order to find the one which is lost. (Luke 15:3–7). The Shepherd (Peter) went to find the lost sheep.  It’s nice way of telling how special ONE person is to Jesus.

Joe Crow came back and shared the Lord’s Prayer and gave all the children “Hand tracts” and some children were able to share and read the prayer.
