“Don’t let the Fire go out” Evangelist Peter Ruck

Evangelist Peter Ruck first came to Peniel Ieper at the Church consecration 31 years ago, Returning again for Pastor Pieter Morisse’s induction six years ago. It’s been wonderful spending time in Ieper once more.

Peter found himself reminding himself it was his first step on the mission field. He had a request to share his personal testimony of how he came to Christ as his personal saviour. Peter shared that he came into Church looking for a miracle for his wife Eileen who was seriously unwell, losing her eyesight and suffering from late onset diabetes. Peter was a successful businessman, but felt helpless unable to help his wife.

He saw a video of a blind man being healed. This brought them both to church. Peter found himself listening to the Gospel – The Roman Road scriptures this challenged his lifestyle and values. The Holy Spirit fell upon Peter with a baptism of fire sharing the scripture Luke 3;16-18 which was life changing for him and the “fire has never gone out” in his passion to share the Good News of Jesus. His wife Eileen received her miracle when her blind eye was opened. Eileen found peace and salvation and was promoted to Glory. They were married for 28years.

Many of you knew my wife Judy Choo-Ean whom I married three years later. She accompanied me here to Belgium many times. She was a gifted lady of hospitality, I know many here today have sat around our table or stayed with us in England. We were married for 28 years she became my soulmate, we both claimed each being a gift of God to each other. It was Judy who sent me into the Jungle when I saw my first ministry miracle. I have brought my book Passing the Baton as a gift for you today with many many more stories of my journey.
Judy was promoted to glory on August 18th 2025, she had many encounters herself with God including a visitation by Jesus in her hospital bed. She told us, Jesus said to her I have come to bring you peace.

I am very grateful for this invitation to share with you all. I am very grateful to my friends Luc and Carol Decoster who have driven me here and taken care of me on this trip. It is Luc’s voice you can hear on the recording he is interpreting the message I am sharing “Don’t let the fire go out”. We have all come with a passion to encourage you all, we all carry more than we think as Christians as you will hear me share on this link of the service.
