Scripture tells us to “Taste and see the Lord in good” Psalm 38:4.
Gururaj Iyengar invited Liviu Crestescu & Peter Ruck to join him on mission in his homeland India.
We left Gatwick Airport after a long delay, we missed our connecting flight in Dubai going onto Chennai. This meant overnight stay and could not leave until the next day. Arriving in Chennai the next evening to warm welcome and meal with our hosts.
It began with the ‘Fire Festival’ Liberty Ponneri. We were treated to some Indian praise and worship and a welcome from many local pastors and ministries. The hall soon filled up, I wasn’t aware at the time but learn’t afterewards that people were listening from outside.
I was the opening speaker sharing words of encouraging and my testimony. I was followed by Pastor Solomon Raj who was a native of India, but now has a church in Preston in England. The evening saw many people coming forward for ministry. We saw people responding for salvation, healing and deliverance there was such a presence of the Holy Spirit as lives were bring touched.
The second day we went out into a local village to pray for a man who had been injured. The ‘Fire Festival’ began again with worship and great expectation following the first night. Liviu gave his testimony and Pastor Gururaj Iyengar ministered the word people responded to the Good News of the Gospel with salvation, healing and deliverance.
The finale was a time of celebration, with changed lives for whole families new beginnings as people were set free ‘mind body and souls’ we were particularly touched by young people saying they didn’t want the fesitval to end.
The next event was at Bible Calls in Chennai. We came with challenging messages of encouragement and testimony’s to 120 mature students made up of Pastors, Leaders, ministry workers who have gone through the Bible calls programme. Our team was Pastors Gururaj and Solomon and Liviu and myself (Peter).
We sing praises to you Oh Lord our spirits felt His Holy presence. During this time of ministry Jesus Name was lifted on high as the Word was spoken. We witnessed salvation and healing following the time of worship & praise with this group in the centre of Chennai.

This was the title of my message at my home church Trinity in Brentwood on 2nd December. It was the first time I had preached there for along time. It was to be a day of celebration with the UK launch of my book ‘Passing the Baton’. We adjourned afterwards to the fellowship hall serving homemade cakes, teas and coffee’s the children had their own table with treats too.
The church bookshop have my book available. I had table to provide signed copies of this my first book. I am so pleased with the quality with colour pictures in the text and a gallery of photos as the back. We are in the process of making the book available through Amazon and other bookshops. Very encouraging to read some of comments people have posted since reading the book!

As I mentioned in recent blogs. I received prophecy several years ago that I would travel to America and would be the start of new opportunities. If I am brutally honest, I wrote down the things that were spoken and left it on a piece of paper.
Well, a series of events have taken me to America this November.
- My book launch of “Passing the Baton” with Kevin & Leslie McNulty who gave the original word that I should write a book in Moscow four years ago. I knew my heart I had to hand them the signed book of “Passing the Baton to them. Show them the one dollar bill they sowed into my ministry years earlier.
- Been present for the commissioning for the 100th tent for Tent 100.
- Be part of launch of Tent Nation USA and iMove in Port Orange Florida.
- WHAT WAS A TOTAL SURPRISE WAS THE ORDINATION. The members of the Tent 100 team were ordained publically recognising with their apolostic calling as Missionary/Evangelist. Each one of us received specific words and the laying of hands and a certificate.

Drs Kevin & Leslie McNulty launched Tent Nation USA at Port Orange Florida. This vision is put to 50 teams, 50 tents in the 50 states in the USA.
The Tent 100 team joined the home team from the USA. Evangelist came from a far everyone of us funded ourselves the passionate team came from Russia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Belarus, France, Belgium, Sweden and of course yours truly from Great Britian, as Kevin likes to say!
The conference began with an international time of worship with groups from USA and Russia. The opening night was real night of celebration. Kevin & Leslie’s 30 years of ministry, The 100th Tent for Tent 100 and finally my own book launch of Passing the Baton.
