He came to Christ from a background of Social Work and Weight-Training.
His various activities included Pastoring Churches, Police and School Chaplaincy, Chairing Christian Charities and supporting Church Leadership across his local area.

For thirteen years Jem has been teaching pastors in India, via zoom, on the subject of ‘Relational Theology’. He also visits each year working amongst the marginalized of Andhra Pradesh.

He teaches and supports Iranians who have come to Christ in Iran and those who are refugees in Turkey visiting them at least three times a year. He sees many people saved and set free through his Ministry.
