Guest speaker Evangelist Raj Hare
The meeting opened with a word of welcome to everyone and our guest speaker Evangelist Raj Hare.
Peter began by saying remember I spoke of God’s presence and the importance of prayer – keeping your spirit open.
Sharing two testimonies of God answering prayer – Sharing he had a burst tyre finding himself on the roadside struggling to get the wheel off – when a young man approached him with a gentle voice, Peter was surprised when look up to see a long haired man with a Rasterfarin hair style, Saying “let me help you Sir” he did,and thanked him., he left me walking off saying “ have a peaceful day man of God” before he took off which took him by surprise!
God answered another prayer in the same week his daughter was in Dubai when the conflict broke out in the Middle East, all flights were cancelled. So many were praying for her, She was on the first scheduked flight out the only one from her hotel. God answered our prayers!
We prayed and once more everyone was encouraged to pray and open up as we began a time of worship in God presence as Gary and worship team ministered before Raj Hare began to share.
Raj started off challenging us all to walk in the awe of God – the fear of the Lord. When we fear God we fear nothing else. This has enabled what Raj’s outwardly quiet and timid daughter to preach at large meetings.
Then she shared some healing testimony’s, including a 90 year old man who was healed of a cricked neck when encouraged to forgive, following a word of knowledge.
Raj talked about her ministry called, ‘Equip’. She travels around the world encouraging and equipping people to share their faith in Christ.
Jesus has been given all authority – the devil stole it from Adam, but He has taken it back! We should not give the devil too much credit – we need to possess our possessions.
Raj received a prophetic word about writing a book, she started off shooting videos about evangelism training on YouTube during COVID lockdown. This training flowed from the Holy Spirit as she spoke. Those videos have been turned into her book, ‘Following the Example of Jesus’.
Her main motive for evangelism is remembering the dark place she was at when she was 19. Then a Jehovah’s Witness visited, and this started her on a search. She then met a Christian who shared the gospel with her, and she came to faith. Why had no one told her before?
Raj went on to share about praying for a muslim couple on Good Friday 2025. She always operates on the principle of looking for a person of peace (Luke 10:6). This is someone who opens up to you, when you have approached them in a friendly manner.
One basic principle; don’t be afraid to talk about faith in Christ – give your hearer the opportunity to say, “No”. They might say, “Yes!”.
Raj introduced Sarah and Claire – two women who have been on mission with Raj, and gained experience of leading people to faith and praying for healing. Sarah and Claire each shared about what they had seen and learnt.
Raj closed with verses from Luke, chapter 4 verses 18 and 19. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you!
There was a time of ministry of healing with Peter and Raj and her Equip team, Raj gave us an opportunity to see her new book that was printed in Brazil . Which she will soon have reprinted in England
