I was very excited by Dennis’s testimony about reaching people who, like him, came to Christ from a completely secular background. I so agreed with him that it’s no good expecting non-believers to come to us in church, why would they? We have to go to them and offer the gospel to them in a way that they can understand and receive. And I wanted his anointing to do that.
So when Peter Ruck gave the invitation, I went to Dennis for prayer. Dennis told us to pray and ask God for what we desired and he said to do it out loud. So I did! Then Dennis prayed for me. I wish I could remember his exact
words, but basically it was to say that God had heard and answered my prayer. Then I felt God’s presence and fire throughout my body. Four days later I was praying for a lady with backpain and the Holy Spirit led me in how to minister to her – and it was a quite unique way – and she was completely healed.
